What Exactly is iCloud?
The terms “cloud”, “cloud computing” and “In the cloud” are not new terms to many. Even so, lots of people do not really understand the true meaning of the terms. Well, the term cloud refers to storing information in a different device from yours, usually a remote computer or server that is connected through the internet. It allows you to access your files, music and photos that are backed up in the cloud anywhere and anytime over the internet as and when you need them, without having to plug in your device to a computer to sync. On the other hand, iCloud computing is an Apple service that is comparable to the ordinary cloud computing.
Even though iCloud computing has been around for quite some time now, a lot of iPhone users, iPad users and iPod touch users are not familiar with it and even if they are, then they are not utilizing it to the maximum.
